Fine Arts Identification Process

Classroom Instructor

1. Identify student and complete nomination form. 
2. Turn in to GATE Coordinator in building.

GATE Coordinator

1. Obtain permission to test
2. Complete Talent Pool form in all steps for placing student in Talent Pool.
3. Have referring teacher complete GES-3.
4. Have parent complete SIGS. 
5. Have referring teacher complete appropriate rubric.
6. Complete PAC.
7. Complete evidence worksheet.
8. If student qualifies, complete Gifted Referral & Identification Worksheet.
9. Attach nominatoin form, rubric, evidence worksheet, and all evidence.
10. Turn in to District Coordinator for final approval.
